I recently enjoyed a rejuvenating city break at Hof-Tschannen with my family, appreciating the peaceful atmosphere of this charming farm on the outskirts of Illighausen. The moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the owners, which instantly made us feel at home. The homemade breakfast was a good surprise, featuring fresh farm eggs, good jams, and the most scrumptious bread- setting the tone for our days of exploration. Our furnished room offered us a amazing view of the lake, especially magical when we glimpsed starry skies through the roof window at night. While we didn't participate much in the activities-like horse riding and cycling-the surrounding environment was inviting for families seeking an escape from busy city life. This haven is perfect for anyone looking for a unique experience, whether you're accompanied by family or friends. I left feeling rejuvenated and very much looking forward to another visit!
